I get a lot of rolled eyes in response. But believe me, I have gotten in plenty of trouble for saying exactly what I am thinking, even in front of people who take exception to bluntness. Their loss. Don't give me a line and not expect a comeback. Practice smart nose comebacks, and soon they will be second nature to you. I've been doing it since I was a child. My grandmother thought I was the worst of her 50 plus grandchildren. She handed me a bottle of Coke, and said, " thank you " the way you do when you are trying to teach manners to a child. I replied, " You're welcome " And she went around and around about how I was supposed to say " thank you " NOT " you're welcome " My father finally told her I knew exactly what I was doing, and was just being a smart mouth. And that was when I was 5 years of age. I've gotten worse since then. , , - whatever do people do with you??? I love your quick witicism. Please, do pass some of that talent my way, pretty please??? You could have also said, " You'll probably enjoy them more once you learn to read.
