Guest guest
Not to worry, Kitty, I am not going to say sleep. You do know what you really need to do. I need not spell it out do I? Guest guest
, If someone calls you a name you don't want to acknowledge, just don't turn around, or answer them. When I was a kid (back with the dinosaurs) my one friend's grandfather used to call me Debbie. No matter how many times I told him my name was . Finally I just stopped " hearing him " when he called me. When he'd get up and get in my face and say, " Hey, I'm taking to you Debbie " I'd say, " Debbie is not my name, I'm " Cured him in a hurry. In one episode of Star Trek, the Next Generation, the Dr. is talking to the android, Mr. Data. And she calls him " Da-tuh " He corrects her and says, " It's pronounced " DAY tuh " . So she says, Da-tuh, Day-tuh, what's the difference, and he says, " One is my name and the other is not " So when someone calls you Liz, just don't reply to them. Liz is short for . is a name by itself. Either first or last. Look at Mona . Kitty, Just a polite correction. My name is -- not Liz. So many people call me Liz. It makes me start to wonder whether Liz is short for .
