, cute do! I wish I had the nerve to cut my hair. I saw your

note to dimonds about getting together. I think that would be

awesome if we could all get together somewhere. I know we're spread

out all over the country though. But, you've heard the saying (sort

of) " if you plan it, they will come. " !!!

THanks Pam! I love the new cut but to be totally honest I do like my

hair when it is a bit longer. I had really really long hair below the

bra strap area on my back, but it was layered and I was so sick of

the layers, plus for awhile I had suffered allot of hair loss due to

being on thyroid meds that I did not need and that made me

hyperthyroid. It took about 8-10 months to stop losing my hair after

going off the meds. I always have had extremely thick, kind of

natural wavy hair, it has always been my pride and joy, so losing it

and having it get thinner was very traumatic to me. It did not look

obvious to anyone, because it was so thick to begin with no one else

would have ever known I had thinning hair, but I new, and it was

upsetting to say the least to see all that beautiful blonde hair in

the drain and the brush and everywhere else for that matter! Finally

though it started to calm down, and now it is growing in as thick as

ever, in fact it is longer and thicker than in those two pics, and

that is only two months ago, so I am excited. It had been awhile

since I had a hair compliment, and had two yesterday at work, a

patients wife told me how thick and pretty my hair was, gosh that was

so nice to hear, I really needed to know that others noticed it too.

I swear losing hair is frightening and horrible for a woman, I mean

it sucks for men too, but I think for women it is really traumatic.

Anyhow, I found this awesome girl here in Idaho Falls(I used to get

my hair done in Ca by my sister) so I was a spoiled girl when it came

to hair cuts and color etc. But I found a girl here who is so

awesome, we decided to try 3 shades in my hair, one is carmel, one is

light blonde and then a dark golden blonde, I love it because I can

go about 4 months now between color, or maybe longer if I want,

instead of being pale blonde and having to do it every 8-12 weeks.

Anyhow, I also told her I wanted it all one legnth, no more layers,

so we cut it just to my shoulders, with the back a little longer, and

now it is almost all even. I love the blunt cuts, and with my flat

iron when i get it really straight it looks so cool with the little

flip at the end. Anyhow I love change so this was good for me. But I

cannot wait for it to be a little longer ya now. I noticed your hair

is very long is it naturally curly? When is your birthday Pam? I

noticed we are both the same age, were you born in 1964? My b day is

August 2nd, and my hubby's is the 4th, we always have a blast for our

birthdays, it is super fun!

Anyhow I guess I am rambling on and on here hee hee. Pam you look

really really good. I am impressed with your results, esp how much

tissue you have. That is so cool, it is good to see that so many

women end up with allot of tissue after explant, of course I was not

one of them, I am teeny, but I did get a great lift, and I feel so

happy that my scars are invisible. Did your Dr talk to you about

using mederma on your scars? I would highly recomend it. I am pretty

sure that this helped me allot, I used tons of it too, I used to

slather it on in the morning and if I was home from work I would

continue to slather it on everytime I noticed it was getting dry. I

am convinced this has allot to do with why my scars are so nice, that

and Dr Fengs awesome stitching job. Anyhow I would def ask about the

mederma and when you can start to use it. You can buy it over the

counter at any pharmacy, I used to have to special order it so that

they always had it for me. I used it faithfully for at least the

first year.

Anyhow hugs

, my hair is a couple inches below my bra strap - naturally

dark blonde but no curl. I get spiral perms every 6 or 8 months.

I've got an awesome girl here that's been doing my hair for 10

years. She quit work when she had her first child and now she comes

to my house. She only charges $50 for a spiral where a shop would

charge $125+! I'm very lucky to have her.

My birthday is October 6, 1965 and my husband's is 9 September 27.

He's 9 days older. I can't say we've had a blast on our birthdays

because it's been so long since we've had fun doing anything. With

me being sick, he would rather just work from sun up to sun down and

that's about it. We had a Harley until a few months ago. We used to

ride and have fun, but for the last year I haven't been able to ride

because I've been so sick. So we sold it. Hopefully I'll improve

enough to be able to enjoy some things in life again. I just don't

think it'll be with him. We may be beyond repair. This illness

really has taken a toll on me and my family and my job. But, things

are looking up! I have been feeling pretty good, so I'm hopeful that

things will only get better.

I haven't tried Mederma yet. I'll check with the doctor to see when

it's safe to use. My daughter had a baby last May and she used it on

her stretch marks but they didn't improve at all. She's 17 and very

self-conscious because of the stretch marks and saggy boobs. I'm

trying to get through to her that beauty is on the inside and she

shouldn't worry about her " skin " . She is a beautiful girl. I'll

post some pictures of her and my grandbaby soon. I just got a

scanner so I've been experimenting!

Talk to you later.
