Guest guest
Why did United HealthCare refuse your coverage? I have Medica which is part of UHC and was told by my employer they covr CI. Maybe it's the specific plan you have? jim Re: bling out the CI Date: Fri, 28 Sep 2007 00:32:09 -0000 I was just reading your blog, you are not that far away from me. Did you know that CochlearAmericas offices are in Denver. you can make an appt to go visit them and also meet some of their staff, ask questions etc. As you are so close, you may want to visit them and the Cochlear devices are a good choice esp as the reps are within driving distance of your CI center if you have problems or need them to help out with your mapping etc. I had the Cochlear Audiologist come down to Colorado Springs a couple times to my mapping appts. Drop me an email if you want. also where did you get the figure for the cost for CI procedure of over $100,000? its usually between $30-60,000 per ear DJ
