Guest guest
Hi , If you have sprained the SAME ankle more than twice, ask your Dr. to give you some exercises to restore the proprioceptors in the ankle. That's the jobbers that tell you WHERE your body is in space. Like if your foot is flat or at an angle before you put it down. Most of us don't have to think about where our body parts are at any give time. We KNOW our knees are below our hips, etc. But if you've injured your ankle several times, the proprioceptors are shot, and you don't know if you are putting your foot flat or down on the side, and hence sprain it again and again. It used to be a right of spring for me to sprain my ankle, and I mean EVERY spring for years. Finally had a Dr. who gave me a series of exercises to do to strengthen the muscles in the ankle area and to give me back proprioception so I am now aware of where my foot is before I put it down. Easy to fix, and the exercises are easy to do. ____________________________________________________________ Home Improvement Projects Improve your home.
