Phone clarity, Clarity in general

When I was first turned on, talking on the phone was great. But since has

gotten worse. I was turned on Oct. 2007. Just had a new mapping March 12,

2008. It hasn't gotten any better. But I did find that if I'm talking with

someone who is wearing a headset, that I have to ask them to take it off,

otherwise I can't understand them. Also clarity in general has been bad.

My audi thinks it might be something physiological. My impedance level

hasn't gone down either, like she said happens to most. She said if it did,

I might have more clarity. I head almost always sounds empty and hollow and

I find myself turning my volume done to near 0. It's strange. Has anyone

here experienced that?
