Guest guest
I got this from Kara , our area awareness manager. The web resource at the bottom is a great way to practice getting to the ZOOM program and other changes you might want to make with your remote. Lil Klein Turn your remote on and let it do the diagnostics Get to the screen that has the 4 programs listed. Hit the " Go Home to Cochlear key " in the center of the silver circle. This will get you to the troubleshooting screen. Press the upper left soft key for processor settings. It has the icon of the processor and the wrentch. Use the Down Volume part of the silver circle to go to the 7th sub page. The pages are 1. lock processor buttons, 2. change the T coil ratio, 3. change accessory mix ratio, 4, turn the alerting light on to flash with incoming sound. 5. turn the alerting light on to flash when there is a problem, 6, enable or disable personal auditory alarms, 7. activate Zoom, 8. Reset the processor, 9. processor serial number and firmware version number. The data has come in from our validation studies and ZOOM ROCKS, particularly in reverberant environments. It makes a huge improvement in performance when it is used. So, we are going to put it into the Noise program so that you can access it through that main screen. It isn't there yet, but it is coming. There is a great resource on the web. Check this out. http://www.cochlearamericas.com/CR110_remote/index.html You can go on there and it will walk you through how to do EVERYTHING you ever wanted to do on your remote. Hope this helps, Kara
