Guest guest
Hi Virg, Not only are the ages dark, they are lots less expensive. Went to the home of someone whose house I'm watching to remove their cable box and return it. They pay $500 + every 2 months. What the heck are they getting? Transmissions from Mars? Apparently it was every channel known to human kind as well as high speed internet and all that. There is nobody who needs to be in contact with me 24/7, and I don't want to be annoyed anyway, so no cell phone. People look at me like I'm from another planet when I mention not having a cell phone. " but you get free long distance " At $50 a month, it's not free. I use calling cards that give me 2 or 3 cents a minute calls. There are several ways to save bundles, but most folks don't know about it. Or care. Indeed, the non technical ages. On the other hand, we both have cochlear implants which are the cutting edge of technology. So I guess we do have one foot in the 21st century. I watch TV when the Cleveland Browns have an away game. I work the home games. So my TV is on maybe 10 hours a year. But I put on my CI when I get up and it's on all the time I'm awake. Choose your technologies! , it's good to know that there is one other person in the world living in the dark ages <g>. Virg
