We are so excited - Nina is walking. She will be 2 on Aug. 26th. She has been

taking a couple of steps, but tonight she decided to really WALK. She takes

about 8 steps, sits down and tries again. She keeps getting up and going again

and again and again. She won't stop till she gets where she wants to be. She

is so happy herself that she sits and claps for herself. Yippeeeee!!! Look out

world, here she comes.

Nina, Have you lost your good mind? She has a pediatrician in Ft Lauderdale

that is all I know. Another family member of mine got just the measles also

but then went back for the rubella and mumps and couldn't get them separate.

So guess what she did? Got the MMR!!! Her son stopped talking at that point

and had an infection with open sores that went down his whole throat. He also

wont look at you in the face. He is 2.5 and only says Mama and caca. I might

as well just talk to the wall with my family. I would love more than anything

for you to explain why in the world you want to inflict that on a child you

love? If you give me a detailed enough reason I will call her and get the

phone number of her pediatrician. You have not done your homework. Research

that vaccine before you decide. you know its made from chicken eggs right?

RNA and DNA from birds recombining with your babies RNA and DNA. Guess what

viruses are also present? Avian leukemia. Wonder if that is why a child every

5 minutes is diagnosed with leukemia? Think long and hard Nina. Could you

forgive yourself if you child starts seizing like mine did? I can never

forgive myself. If I had only researched.....please take our advice and keep

learning from all the wonderful people in this group. Go to all their

websites and learn from all of our mistakes. Here is mine <A

If someone is given several solutions for his problem and still continues

to find reasons why they won't work, then it seems to me he is not

thinking of how to solve the problem, just complaining.

Yes, I've been to NYC, several times. Taxis are expensive, subway is out

of the way, which is why a lot of people WALK where they want to go.

Even if you find a taxi, streets are one way - so you have to go over 2

blocks to get a street going in the same direction. One goes only North,

the next only South or perhaps it's Only East and the next one only West.

Have driven through it, too.

It's hardly bullying someone to tell them to take some responsibility for

themselves and their problems. Of the several alternatives given, none

have suited. Neighbor, building manager, friend could sign for the

device. Cochlear is not going to deliver a $7,000 piece of equipment

without proof of delivery. Have it delivered to the audiologist, or to

the office. But it's easier to complain I guess. Cochlear or Fed Ex or

the universe is being outlandish demanding a signature for an expensive

piece of equipment.

And an even more famous person (Alice Roosevelt Longworth) said, " If you

can't say anything nice about a person, come sit next to me! "

AS ANOTHER FAMOUS PERSON ONCE SAID: " If you can't

say something nice, don't say anything at all. "
