Yesterday my family and I celebrated Christmas early and one of the presents I received was a brand new LG cell phone! As you might imagine, I was elated! When we tried out the phone, I found that I had no difficulty hearing on it and the sound was crisp and clear -- much better in fact than my landline phone. hile I've had my CIs for quite awhile now an I sider this to be a CI moment since I will now be able to make calls independently anywhere, anytime. No more being tied to my TeleBraille or asking others to make calls for me. This year it was also wonderful being able to hear all of the gifts being opened as well as the voices of family and friends. Thanks to my CIs, I will no longer sit in silence wishing I could join in on the conversations around me -- especially during the holidays. We all have so much to be thankful for, don't we? Please share with us the model # of the LG cell phone and also what is your carrier. It does make a difference. The model number of my cell phone is UX3300 (I verified this with my sister who purchased the phone for me). I wonder why the phone is listed as discontinued?
