Guest guest
Has anyone experienced setting the store security off with their CI. I was remapped yesterday and today three times I set it off--twice in WalMart and once in Express. Wonder if it is the CI or something else--maybe my electric personality (sorry couldn't resist). I wonder if they have the settings on the devices set to pick up more because of the number of shoppers this time of year. Please don't tell my husband I was shopping again. Guest guest
Connie, Maybe you were carrying too many electronic devices or Christmas gifts. (LOL, I couldn't resist that) I never had that experience, and I was in Wall Mart on Monday. Have a wonderful holiday. a from L.A. implanted w/ Freedom 8-

I haven't, but while I was in school and thereafter, I often set off the alarm at a local court house. I am almost sure it was my CI because I dress differently every time and making sure I have no metal, I still set it off. I never had problems elsewhere....... oh well.... It could be the setting of the alarm itself as higher risk locations tend to have higher sensitivity. Guest guest
Hi Connie, Perhaps the sensors are more sensitive this time of the year; perhaps it's your new program. I personally have set off the alarm system in the public library every time I go through with a book, and it's been 10 years now. They just look, see it's me and wave me through. Who knows. As for telling your husband you've been shopping; the police will let him know when they drag your sorry butt to the station for setting off alarms. LOL. It's Christmas, you're supposed to shop. Think of how you're helping the economy. Posted by: " C J " cjcj05@... momtwins5551 Thu Dec 13, 2007 4:08 pm (PST) Has anyone experienced setting the store security off with their CI. Guest guest
Yesterday I was leaving Macy's with my purchases and the alarm went off. I went back to the check out and assured the lady it was my CI. I went back thru the door with no packages, no alarm! I had a tag on one of the items I bought, I felt like a big dummy and the young lady had the strangest look on her face when I kept saying " oh this is just my CI setting it off " !! My mind was racing thinking crazy things like " will they believe me or will they search me to make sure I am not stealing something?? " .
