Guest guest
I have also had a deal of pain but I have been check and rechecked for gall bladder. There is nothing wrong with my gall bladder. The doctor told me it was from a swollen liver. I heard that that you have said and found that each person is different. We all have different things happening to us.
Guest guest
The doctor also thought the spasms I was having from that general area were gall bladder but can not find anything wrong with the functioning of the gall bladder releasing enzymes or any gall stones. My pain comes on especially when I ride in the car or do something physical and it feels like someone sqeezing an inflammed organ and slowly releasing it. Lying in a fetal position on my right side helps it. ...judy

Guest guest
That's sounds like a pretty good attitude. Sometimes you have to leave it to the experts and put yourself in their hands. When you accept this, it is quite liberating. Â I wish you the very best of good luck and good care. Guest guest
Hi Tim, I don't think you can ever feel fully prepared. But what you can do is surrender and the words you use seem to indicate that's exactly what you are doing. And that's good!!! That will promote fast healing. I am now 6 weeks post-op. Have gained 3 pounds. I'll write more in a general update to the Board. Just wanted to say I will be sending you energy all day on Thursday and in the weeks that follow. You are not alone. I will look forward to reading the updates. If you have any questions or anthing you want to share, as always, fire away. You will be soon be amazed and thrilled about being able to swallow easily for the first time in ____ years. Guest guest
Hi Tim, SEE your brain is adapting faster than you thought. Simple as that. Never hunt for problems with equipment when it could just be that you're getting used to it faster than you thought. When you see an animal with 4 legs, a long tail, long neck and big head, think " horse " not " Zebra " Always look for the simple answers first. I can still hear everything but at a very low level with the volume turned up to it's maximum. I was wondering if the processor or implant was having issues. My next appointment won't be until the 16th and I'm going to request another appointment to turn the processor up before that date by quite a large increase. I'm suppose to be comparing 3 different programs and let my audiologist know which one I like the best but I can't do this with the volume so low. Thanks and have a happy Thanksgiving. Guest guest
Tim-I too will be thinking of you! I look forward to hearing how your new achalasia free life is doing : ) Tonia > > thinking of you and wishing you the best recovery possible. The first few months can be rough but you are going to be so much better - I actually laid in bed the other night and cried (good tears) thinking about how much stress the spasms and everything had caused for so many years. Having my E out was the BEST thing I've ever done for myself physically. > Please keep us posted. > > ~ in NC > achalasia free since Jan. 2008 >
