Guest guest
Margo, Congratulations on becoming a grandma, and being able to hear those first sounds a baby makes. They really are unique, and once they get older, you don't hear them again. And when your little granddaughter starts to learn how to cry to get attention, well, you'll be happy your implant has an " off " switch as well. thanks for sharing, and remember, just because she was born close to, or on Christmas day, SHE STILL DESERVES A SEPARATE BIRTHDAY just like everyone else. Being a December baby myself, I know of what I speak. Those " combination birthday and Christmas " presents just don't cut it. What is the little girl's name? Hi everyone- Today I got to meet our one day old newborn granddaughter. Such joy to see this tiny little baby but even more to hear her soft little newborn cries! How blessed I am for this wondrous miracle of life that I can hear. I never heard the sounds of three out of my four children as infants all those years ago-with my cochlear implant I've been given so many chances and blessings to rejoice in the sounds of life. So today I feel doubly blessed with a healthy granddaughter and with the ability to hear her as well!! She is definitely a very special early Christmas present for our family! Merry Christmas to all of you
