Guest guest
Pati, That was a wonderful reply with a great amount of helpful information. I know I wasn't the one for whom it was intended, but I will be using it. Thanks so much. Joyce

Hi, Our bodies run on tiny amounts of electricity that's impacted by all electrical devices, altering the flow of electrons. The brain... then, simply cannot communicate properly. This type of friction produces electricity at rest or Static Electricity (SE) and must be bled off. Liquid Needles unblocks and maintains the bodies free flowing energy field with tiny amounts of electricity using sound and light to charge a very dense mineral with electricity at a very specific frequency the body likes. Simply apply a droplet to a point where acupuncture needles are inserted. For reference, click the following Hotlink: http://www.mninter.net/~pfourier Then, click 'ACUPUNCTURE'. In the Search bar, simply type in item number 'E116'. Regards, L

Guest guest
Terri, when I think back to when I was first activated in February 2006, I can remember that hearing so many sounds at once reminded me of static. Even to this day, when I turn on my processor in the morning, the sounds are reminiscent of static, but just for a few seconds, until my brain " wakes up " with the rest of me. I think you will see a great difference if you just give it a few months. Guest guest
Thanks Judy- Do you have tinnitus? I had it before surgery and after surgery, and think the static is partially my tinnitus.... > > > > > > hi everyone~ > > > > i am a new CI user, activated about 2 weeks ago. > > > > i have the freedom. when i turn it on i get static in my ear even if i have the sensitivity and > > volume buttons at zero. > > >
Guest guest
Hi Terri, Yes, when I was first activated in June 2006, I got a lot of static and it lasted for a few weeks. It improved with every new map and eventually went away completely. Just give it time and it will probably disappear. > > > hi everyone~ > > i am a new CI user, activated about 2 weeks ago. > > i have the freedom. when i turn it on i get static in my ear even if i have the sensitivity and > volume buttons at zero. > > does anyone else have this? i assume it's just the way it is with the ci... > > thx > > -terri >
Guest guest
Hi - When I put my CI on this morning the static was barely audible! I think you are right... Thanks much! -Terri > > > > > > hi everyone~ > > > > i am a new CI user, activated about 2 weeks ago. > > > > i have the freedom. when i turn it on i get static in my ear even if > i have the sensitivity and > > volume buttons at zero. > > > > does anyone else have this? i assume it's just the way it is with > the ci... > > > > thx > > > > -terri > > >
Guest guest
Terri, I've had mild tinnitus my whole life; however, just after activation and for a few weeks thereafter, the tinnitus was so severe from time to time that it sounded like a locomotive coming through my bedroom. One night I looked at my sleeping husband wondering if it would wake him up! He just kept snoring. :-) Judy > > Thanks Judy- > Do you have tinnitus? > I had it before surgery and after surgery, and think the static is partially my tinnitus.... Guest guest
Terri, I hope your Tinnitus calms down. I went through a similar situation after I was hooked up and the the Tinnitus would sometimes spike, in other words, get loud for a while. If one removed their CI, they would still hear it, and this proves it is Tinnitus. Even though one's CI will mask most of the Tinnitus, it took me about a half year before the Tinnitus almost completely disappeared. Some people say sugar and certain foods trigger it, but everyone is different and reacts in different ways. My Audi once told me that most people with normal hearing locked in a sound proof room, do hear something when nothing is there, and it's Tinnitus. Some people can even hear their blood flowing through their blood vessels in their ears. When you have a spike, try to ignor it and it will simmer down. In time, the Tinnitus should decrease to a point whereby it will no longer be anything to be concerned about. Good Luck. Barry in PA. Guest guest
There is static and there is tinnitis. Static happened when I got my first CI and it only occurred when the CI was on. Tinnitis, sounding different from the static, happened whether the CI was on or off.
