Guest guest
I dont think there is any time frame. If you charge the battery then leave it sitting unused, it will be dead when you need it. Quote of the nanosecond... Guest guest
I think what he's asking is can it be overcharged if left there for too long. I wonder that too. I had a rechargable battery on it yesterday, I forgot to charge the remote, so when I put the remote on there today, I took the battery off because I was worried it would get overcharged. Is that possible? Guest guest
I know. But in this day and age of a plethora of battery powered devices, who can keep track? Here is something to think abiut. I use rechargeables for me Freedom. I lost one battery and because it makes no sense to use a single rechargeable, I left it on the charger indefinitely while searching on and off for the missing battery. No luck, so I pulled it and tossed it in a drawer. Several months later, maybe almost a year, I found the missing battery. I put them both on the charger and have bene using them since with no problems. Quote of the nanosecond... Guest guest
From the Fredom Rechargeable Battery Guide: Remove Freedom Rechargeable Batteries from the charger and store them separately (from the other batteries), when they will not be used or recharged for more than one month. After storing rechargeable batteries for an extended period, it may be necessary to recharge them. ....... Guest guest
My N5 charger knows when a battery is recharged, as shown by the indicator lights. Like all modern chargers, the electronics recognise a fully charged unit, and will not try to charge it further unless the voltage drops again. There should not be a need to take off a charged cell unless it is not to be used for some days. A charged cell will start to very slowly discharge if taken off the unit - leave it off for two hours then put it back on - you will see. My two are constantly on charge overnight, and are used alternatively every other day.The life of the batteries is probably prolonged by keeping them charged up Old England > > Isn’t it amazing what you can learn when you read the directions in the manuals? Guest guest
When all else fails, read the directions. I left my N5 battery charger plugged in for a week while I was in AZ for bilateral research. No problem. Got home, it was charged, but not over charged. Who reads users manuals?
