Guest guest
hello Kathy. Funny how you should mention Nizoral, my New GYN. just gave me a script for 200mgs, to take for 2 weeks!! You do have some great tips. I am a bit nervous in taking it though, because I am very allergic and sensitive to meds, and have never taken it before. I would have prefered the Diflucan(as it helps the itching and burning), but he would not give it to me. You are so right about the 'low grade yeast'. This NEW gyn. actually LOOKED UNDER The microscope at the swab sample. Something that gyns should do, but I have never seen before. He said 'low grade yeast'. You have been VERY helpful and knowledgable to me, more than you know. Esp. all the info you told me about the vulvadina! I can have sex MOST of the time now! (sorry to get personal..LOL). I think I am on my way to keeping it under control, and maybe even getting rid of it. Yes I do alternatives for yeast. I eat no sugars, no breads. I take acidopholis, enzymes and geranium-it is a powdered mix( I get some kickin stuff from this place in Ca.)I tried the oil of oregano, and had taken too much and herexed bad. I did it for one month, then stopped. It made me inflammed and the bacteria, yeast and breakouts (boils) were bad. I am adding the boric acid this week, if I can find it. I also do a tea tree douche once in a while, as well as use 2 drops of tea tree to 2 drops of water, and put it on the outside area of my vagina. (have you tried this). IT gets rid of the burning! I have done liver flushes in the past. AND WOW...I turned yellow on my entire left side of my body, and almost threw up ! I was REALLY SICK From it. The liver is on the left, so I think it was detoxing thru my skin. Even my family saw it, and was like..wow that is working. I don't want to do it again, until I start a detox diet, I do not want to shock my body all at once. I musta put a strain on the ol' liver in my younger years!! YIKES!!! I have not tried the milk thistle. I will keep it in mind though, thanks for the tip. All this stuff can get so expensive!!! I am going to have my gen.MD check my liver. Ok kathy. I am babbling again! I will let you know how the Nizoral treatment goes. !! Good health and peace to you always!! dimonds68

Guest guest
Vickie, Darn, that stinks that you threw it up! I think on the liver flush site a few people mentioned feeling nauseous and not being able to keep it down. I don't know now I handle it either, to tell you the truth! It is pretty gross, but with the grapefruit juice, the oil turns pretty watery, and I just suck it up real fast through a straw. I am going to do another one this weekend. I know the last one I did, I felt some nausea in the middle of the night. Did you throw it up right away, or a few hours later? My hubby does them as well, and he never mentions any problems. It may be that those who are sickest need to go slower with it. There is a liver flush that is a little less strenuous, you might want to try that one. It is posted in the files section, (under Liver flush I in Healing Therapies), and it only involves one Tablespoon of olive oil in one cup of citrus juice each morning for 10 days, versus a half cup of olive oil in one night on the flush I do. I just really think a liver flush of some sort is needed to get that stuff moving on out. A sluggish liver really keeps a person unhealthy. I wanted to mention that ever since I did my series of three liver flushes, and I started taking my supplements again, wow, I am feeling totally awesome! My family has definitely noticed, (my husband is wondering if I am going through my sexual peak or something, ha ha). Specifically, I added DHEA and pregnenolone, as well as doing the progesterone cream nightly, and taking the B vitamins for sure. Even with all this stress I've been under, I have been doing well, and I've noticed the change mostly just in the last few weeks. I think the B vitamins are vital, and that was one vitamin complex that I had totally neglected for months, aside from my B-12 shots. And now that I think about it, some of the B vitamins are labeled "Stress complex"--obviously, I needed them, and I am amazed at how much they have helped. Guest guest
Vickie your absolutely right about the liver being on the other side, though it does kind of run in the middle as well. I also cannot do these flushes they are nasty! The fact is that the liver is an amazing machine that can really do some amazing cleansing on its own. Ok I know people here are not going to agree with me, but I feel that this is true with allot of the human body, I am not saying that many of these natural things don't help, or that at least they don't help emotionally, but being a nursing student, I guess I am still a bit old school in that I know the body can heal itself pretty well all on its own. Some things can def help it out though. I know that when I was young I had some pretty bad things happen to me and I must admit my body healed from these things on its own. It is with gods help too. I also did take good care of myself to recover. With implants though they had to be removed to recover, the body can fight some things, but when they are sitting in your chest it becomes overwhelmed. Guest guest
Patty: it was the epsoms salts i threw up, it was within 10 minutes of drinking it. i do plan on trying it again after the holidays. it sounds as though it is very helpful. i dont know if it was the drink itself that made me sick...it seems everything i eat nowadays make me nauseous for some reason. i found that if i drink powder acidopulis three times a day i dont have that problem. i got food posioning before thanksgiving and havent been right since. maybe i have a lingering bug from that. >From: "*~Patty~*" >Reply- > >Subject: Re: re ;Kathy ..diflucan/nizoral >Date: Fri, 19 Dec 2003 08:08:48 -0800 > >Vickie, >Darn, that stinks that you threw it up! Guest guest
eeewww, yes, food poisoning isn't going to be easy to handle. Have you been checked for Hepatitis? Here's a suggestion instead of the epsom salts....(Yes, I agree, that stuff is horrid! I have to hold my nose when I drink that down and guzzle it as fast as I can. It is the taking of epsom salts that makes me NOT want to do liver flushes, even though the olive oil sounds grosser): you can drink magnesium citrate, about half or a third of a 10 ounce bottle per dose, which you can find at any drug or grocery store. This does the same thing as the epsom salts (which is magnesium sulfate...same end result). It doesn't taste bad at first, kinda like soda pop if you get the lemon/lime flavored, but after a few doses, yes, that stuff really does make you want to barf. Another suggestion is to do a coffee enema, which opens the bile ducts--that is the goal with the epsom salts anyway. I usually do a coffee enema after my last dose of epsom salts in the morning. One more suggestion for everyone who is interested in liver health is to take Swedish bitters....these are herbs that support liver function, and I can testify that they definitely work on the liver! I have taken them in a glass of water (and they taste rather ghastly, like most herbal concoctions do). I know it works on the liver in the same way that the epsom salts did because one morning I took probably 3 times the dose stated on my bottle and was in the bathroom all morning with that urge to go RIGHT NOW. Just like the flush does. Here is a link about the Swedish bitters--I know there are lots of links if you do an internet search, but this one is particularly interesting. http://www.swedishbitters.com/miracles.htm I really think that if anyone cannot do a liver flush, buy some Swedish bitters and get on a regular dose of it. Again, as I said many times, I think one of the keys to our health lies in healing or strengthening the liver. Guest guest
Patty: we didnt think to check for hepatitis. i should do that. of course it ruin me on chopped chicken liver salad for life!!!! thanks for the advice on the mag citrate. i have drank that before. it's bad, but not like the epsoms salts and i'll check out the bitters too. i agree with you, it is important to maintain a strong healthy liver! i was really disappointed when i couldnt do the flush. i wanted my liver cleaned out right away! >From: "*~Patty~*" >Reply- > >Subject: Re: re ;Kathy ..diflucan/nizoral >Date: Fri, 19 Dec 2003 11:53:20 -0800 > >eeewww, yes, food poisoning isn't going to be easy to handle.
