Guest guest
Hi, Dan, I actually just dealt with this dilemma. I had a mapping and in the office it was REALLY loud -which I usually like. But I had my audi set it 2 " clicks " down where it was just moderately loud. I had him set it on volume setting 7. That way I could go up or down. Well - sure enough, by the time I got home - (4 hours counting stop for lunch) - I had aready boosted the volume to 9! I forgot to account for adro that my audi programed into each map. SO - as luck would have it - a local friend was going for her mapping the following week. I gave her my processors, she gave them to my audi - who hooked them up to the computer and clicked the volume up 2 " clicks " on each map. (SHHH - don't pass that info around! LOL) Aha! Perfect! So - I'm guessing the adro is what keeps voice from getting distorted when loud, but kicks down he background noise, too. I hated adro before - but so far, this time it is working fo me. Don't forget - lowering or raising your sensitivity can help fine tune a map, too. Hope this helps. Jackie )
