Ok, so apparently using both at same time each will be mapped to compensate for

the specific ears needs. That said, what happens if a bilateral person has

trouble with one CI. Suddenly the other ear isn't enough as the pair were acting

as one, sort of. Now the one good processor, being programmed to be used with

the 2nd, is doing it alone, so do you get remapped to adjust for the loss of one

processor or will your brain adjust and remapping not be needed?

Our brains are amazing. They get used to and can compensate for a lot of

different things.

That said...... If you have trouble with one processor, you get it fixed.

Period.
