Would any of our doctors testify as an expert witness?

I talked to a malpractice lawyer yesterday about my implants. The

implanting doctor put Ancef, an antibiotic, into them when he put

them in which contaminated them from the start and Dr. Blais verified

they had faulty valves. The lawyer said that I would need another

plastic surgeon to be an expert witness who would say that not only

was it wrong to add anything to the implants (breech in standard of

care) but it made me sick as well. Would any of our doctors testify

as an expert witness in individual cases? I'm pretty sure I can do

this as an individual malpractice suit against my doctor and still be

part of a class-action. Any ideas???
