2 Days post activation

Hi

Its now been 2 days since activation, so far so good all of the electrodes are

working properly which is a bonus, Its still mostly just beeps but you can here

distinctions of speech within the beeps particularly The Ts ans Ss and the shs

seam quite distinctive, I managed to chew through most of the volume before the

mapping session ended and had it bumped up again, but have now had to push it

all the way up again with the remote to max voume, is probably a good sign that

my brain is adapting,

I must say i havnt found it uncomfortable to wear at all, probably becouse i

have been wearing a hearing aid in that ear for 30 year, though it is tender

where the magnet it, as there was still some swelling from the surgery, as I was

activated early at only 13 days.

If your reading this Shari I hope your doing well post surgery, I feel that im

starting to get my groove back now.
