Hi All,

Was just reading something that had an interesting quote about

lawyers. It said, " Lawyers are like cockroaches. Cut off their heads

and they will still be litigating 3 days later. "

Yep, often settlements are reached because it's the most cost

effective thing to do.

As you know, in many lawsuits, no matter what the issues, it is often

much more cost effective to enlist a settlement and pay a fine rather

than draw out the case and pay huge amounts to the attorneys.

This holds true no matter who is at fault (if anyone) and is done every

day so that companies can continue to do business rather than spend their

time in litigation.
