Guest guest Posted June 5, 2005 Report Share Posted June 5, 2005 The Lexapro kicked in yesterday and I cannot believe the difference between it and the other Antidepressants I have been on. I'm on 20 mg and I am more alert and energetic than I ever believed I could be. One of the manifestations of my depression is that I have no energy and am tired all of the time. Not any more ! I'm also sleeping thru the night now for the first time in years. Often times I might sleep thru the night 2 or maybe 3 nights in a row before I have a night or 2 where I'm up at 3am for the day. Now I sleep thru the night and wake up about 6:30 and I'm up for the day. and have been doing so since starting on the Lex. This feels like a miracle drug to me. That way it will help me to know if Lex does increase the body weight. It may be different for everyone.
