Guest guest
Hi, So have been on Lex 5mg day for 6 mos. It has helped enormously with anxiety and depression, and it's made me less inhibited in my speech, I often find myself thinking, hmm perhaps I shouldn't have said that. But the real problem is that over the past months, I find that I am getting more and more fatigued, naps on the weekend, consecutive naps, etc. I went to the doctor for a serious evaluation, blood panel, diabetes and thyroid (I'm a 36 yr old woman, btw) and my test results were great. So, no anemia or anything like that. I'm figuring it's the lex since, I went off for 3 days ago and my fatigue is gradually going away. Yesterday was the first day in weeks that I didn't have to go down for a 3 hour nap. But I'd rather stay on the lex for awhile and do something to beat the fatigue. Wellbutrin makes me super jittery, even at the 75 mg dose. Someone suggested coenzyme Q10 (coQ10) which is really overpriced, but certainly no more than lex. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks, Mati
Guest guest
Hi Mati ~ ~ For me, the fatigue was there alot in the beginning. I found that by increasing my sleep time, it helped. I take my dosage in the evening (early evening) and so try to sleep most of the fatigue away. Now, as long as I can sleep my 10+ hours a day I don't need a nap anymore. If, however I can't sleep my needed hours, I still need to nap... occasionally..... that is not the rule but the exception. It is all about adjustment. I too am on 5 mgs. I started at 2.5 mgs and worked my way up on liquid Lex. Hope this helps *smiles* Dana Rose > > Hi, > > So have been on Lex 5mg day for 6 mos. Guest guest
Lex makes me really tired too. I went down to 2.5 mg, and it's a bit better, but I still need a nap. Guest guest
Same here Kathy. I am tired and VERY headachey on even 2.5... i put a SMALL mix of wellbutrin into it (half a 75mg pill)... every other day. I think that maybe Lex @ such a low dose is just making the sides worse than seeing any benefits... not sure, but some days are lost from the headaches... also take as little xanax as possible, 1/2 a 0.25 pill once or twice a day as needed. Lex ... second time on it, stopped once before for the tiredness... so it goes... Faiv > > Lex makes me really tired too.
