DEBBIE,

THE THING THAT JUMPED OUT AT ME FROM YOUR NOTE WAS " take garlic by the

scads " everyday. (I don't know anythng about the colloidal silver, so I

don't know if extensive use of it could be a problem or not?) According to

OPTIMAL WELLNESS by Ralph Golan, MD, you can take too much garlic. He says

3 to 4 small cloves a day or 1 to 2 garlic tablets with meals is sufficient.

Too much can cause injure to red blood cells and produce stomach

discomfort. He says if you plan to use more for an extended period of time

you should have your blood tested to make sure you're not injuring yourself.

(Your symptons are also indicative of a food allergy/intolerance. If you

suspect you might have this problem with a specific food, try eliminating it

from your diet for 3 or 4 days.) I personally have the drippy nose problem

when I eat certain foods (mainly wheat and dairy). Now that I have

eliminated most of the offending foods from my diet, I don't have the drippy

nose very often. I hope this helps. You might also refer back to ER4YT,

pages 250-51.

Phyllis,

Please forgive my lack of education on homeopathy...

I don't understand what you mean by " fundamental remedy. " Ashy is not

coughing, or running a fever or exhibiting any signs of a cold. She has

a runny nose that is clear to a bit white color. I was advised to just

leave it run it's course. She is not unhappy, probably happy for the

distraction, and new taste...mmmm! (Yuck....) Anyway, should I look at

treating it if it gets worse, or if another symptom manifests?

I am new to homeopathy, and sometimes, I am very confused.

Thanks for all the advice you provide, it it invaluable to me...and I am

sure many others as well.

Phyllis, why would you want to give this baby with just a runny nose a

remedy. I would just let it run its course and only use homeopathy if

symptoms violently painful or acute and stuck.

Sorry, don't agree, NOTHING is better than anything! Nothing first, then

homeopathy in my opinion. See those of us working with homeopathy don't

always agree.

Hi folks,

I've been on Lexpro 10mg for about 10 days and have had a runny nose

since about day 5.

Perhaps I just have a coincidental cold, I hope so because it does

seem to be helping with depression.

Have other folks experienced nasal congestion? Did it pass?

thanks

Henry

Hi,I think I have been taking too much 2% J Crows the past week and a half. I am in medicine and I guess, incorrectly, assumed that 2% meant 20mg per cc as it does with drug dosages in allopathic medicine. Anyway, I swart I have more energy and wake up refreshed, even on less sleep than I sometimes want to get:). My only issue has been a light runny nose. I have no allergies that I know of and do not feel ihave a cold. I recently purchased a " household physician " textbook from an antique store. It was published in 1907. It states a symptom of " iodidsm " is a runny nose.

Is this true? Anyone have any experince with this? Thanks
