Guest guest
I had several complaints (middle-aged lady, post-menopausal, cannot take hormone replacement), and my doctor thought I was having panic attacks. He put me on Lexapro, 10 mg. the first 3 days were great, I felt wonderful. then the hell started: -terrible nausea, with chest pains and what feels like esophageal spasms. -constipation. -inability to sleep without tylenol pm -became almost catatonic one evening for unknown reason (I have never had psych problems in my life) well, after not being able to eat due to the constipation, I cut the dose down to 5 mg a day. so far this seems to be working better. I am still not convinced that I have panic instead of a real physical problem, however.
Guest guest
This does not sound right. I would get in touch with your doctor immediately and tell him/her what you've said here. weird situation > I had several complaints (middle-aged lady, post-menopausal, cannot take hormone replacement), and my doctor thought I was > having panic attacks. He has a good-sized collection of various stuffed things from over the years, which have their own shelves in his room now. He got interested in clockwork stuffed Easter bunnies when he was around 14 or so, and so we got him one. And we've gotten him one every Easter since then; he looks forward to it! The other day, a friend of his gave him a Spongebob Squarepants figure that talks and moves....says some pretty weird things, I think, but he just loves it. Oh, and he's 25 now. I don't think anything of him having his plush buddies...hey, I'm 57 and have a room *full* of teddy bears! And we've never paid much attention to what the rest of the world thinks of us anyway.
