Guest guest
Hi, How long have you been taking it? The reason I ask is because that seems to be one of the side effects that wares off in a few weeks. It seemed to make my sleep worse for the first few weeks but I am back to a more normal pattern now. I take Ambien 10mgs to help with sleep, most nights. > > > Anyone have problems with insomnia? Guest guest
I had insomnia before anyway. The dr prescribed me something...I can't remember what it's called. I also drink herbal tea at night sometimes. They have some at the store called Sleepytime Extra that really works great when you drink it before you go to bed. Someone here also reccomended a catnip tea. I know, it sounds weird, but I ordered some anyway. I haven't gotten it yet though so I can't tell you how that works. Camomile tea also works really good. > Anyone have problems with insomnia? What do you take at night for it > and in what dosage? > > Lexapro used to help me sleep. Guest guest
Yep, It happened to me when my dose was upped. I have since reduced my dose back to its original and I am sleeping again. I would awaken at 2-3am with anxiety and could not get back to sleep at the higher dose (in my case it was upped from 10-20 and then 30mg!...now back to 10mg) You might try an " ancient " remedy...a warm glass of milk when you cannot sleep. regards jeff > Hello, > I started to take 5 mg of Lexapro a month ago for anxiety.
