Guest guest
I am also a newlywed, and I have the same problem. I hate it! I used to be like the energizer bunny now I am like a damn tortise! I RARELY get the urge, but when I do, I attack my husband. My orgasms aren't nearly as good as they used to be either. I wish I could offer you some advice! I am only 25 and I feel 90. I have noticed a big difference in my anxiety level and haven't had a panic attack since being on it. I'm agoraphobic and have been for 25 years (never housebound). However, I have absolutely no desire for sex. I'm a newly wed and this is not good! Anyone else have this problem? If so, what did you do about it? thanks! Guest guest
I think that's why I'm afraid to even try having sex. I don't want to get frustrated if " it " doesn't happen. This is not a good thing. > > I am also a newlywed, and I have the same problem. I hate it! I used to be > like the energizer bunny now I am like a damn tortise! Guest guest
unfortunately, that's why i'm getting off lex. as soon as i started taking it, i not only lost all sex drive but lost all physical feeling - total numbness. it's been over two months with no change, even when i reduced from 10 to 5mg. i tried adding wellbutrin xl, which i've been taking for a month but that hasn't had any effect for me. (however, it does help some people.) so, i started cutting my dose today and am getting off lexapro. it helped my anxiety but only partially. so, i'm going to have to try something else. but some people, besides adding other drugs to combat this side effect, have said that with time, usually several months, the side effect goes away. that's not the usual case however, so i were you and you felt like the benefit you were getting from lex was sufficient to keep taking it, i would ask my dr about other medicine you can take to help you sexually. good luck. > > I've been on Lexapro for about 6 weeks at 5 mg and just now starting 7 > mg to eventually get up to the 10 mg dosage as prescribed. Guest guest
I've been on Lexapro for 4 weeks now and I am feeling much better. I did not notice any side effects, sexual side effects I mean. Also I found a great website that provides me lexapro at a cheap price and also delievers it very fast. You could try it. The website is www.drugs-for-health.com. > > > > I've been on Lexapro for about 6 weeks at 5 mg and just now > starting 7 > > mg to eventually get up to the 10 mg dosage as prescribed.
