Zoloft to Lexapro

Hi everyone--I'm new here, but an old-timer to the Celexa, Wellbutrin,

and Zoloft groups. I've also taken just about all the others in the

course of my lifetime. Have been on 100mg. of Zoloft for about six

months now, after being in a Celexa-induced coma for 14 weeks. (I don't

mean literally a coma--but close to it!!) I did really well on the

Zoloft for the first few months, with practically no side-effects, but

lately I've been having terrible memory and concentration problems on

it, spacing out a lot, just feeling really *weird* and having trouble

staying on task. I've cut back to 75 mg., and am meeting with a Pdoc on

Friday to discuss the possibility of making a switch yet again.

I've had lifetime depression and GAD. The depression is totally GONE on

Zoloft, but my anxiety level has been creeping up and up. And I'm

actually in a time in my life when things are going really well and

there's not a whole lot to be anxious about except maybe being too busy!

But I think my inefficiency level on Zoloft is creating some of the

anxiety.

Has anyone else in this group made this particular switch? And, aside

from jaw-clenching, what's your consensus about the bad S.E.'s on

Lexapro? I've been browsing some past postings, but it's kind of hard

to wade through them all with the way the format of these groups is set

up. I guess I'm looking for a thumbnail summary of possible S.E.'s. I

dread the thought of making another med. switch, but the

memory/concentration thing with Zoloft is really becoming a problem.

Thanks for your input, hello to people I might know in here, and

greetings to those I don't!!

Margi
