Guest guest
Avocado is a good choice! Maybe peanut butter too. ) So you've lost weight on Lexapro and Wellbutrin combined? I think I've lost a few pounds just from two weeks of the Lexapro because it makes me nauseous. It's getting better. I get really, really hungry, especially for sweets but nothing sounds appealing so I don't eat too well lately. Cyndi On 10/20/06, Jen <jenniferm32@...> wrote: > > > Yeah, I'm still on the food kick. Guest guest
If I had to put on weight, I'd eat a lot of whole grain pasta, bread, desserts, fruits, nuts, gravies and cream sauces, Ice cream milk shakes, or milk shakes made with whole milk, Instant breakfast and a banana all blended together.combining beans and rice will give you a complete protein if you don't eat meat and are a vegetarian. Guest guest
Thanks! As silly as it sounds, there are things on your list I wouldn't have thought of because I'm not used to thinking of healthy high-calorie foods. I've spent so much of my life looking for healthy low-fat things that I really did forget about milkshakes! So sad, but true. Pasta's not a problem here... I'm in an Italian neighborhood. Thanks again. > From: Jen [mailto: jenniferm32@...]Lexapro@...: Fri, 20 Oct 2006 23:28:08 -0000Subject: food food food > > > > Yeah, I'm still on the food kick. Guest guest
Jen -- Oh, Entermanns cakes, I remember them well... Avocado is good. You can make a bowl of guacamole and use it as a spread. If you cover it with a thin layer of mayo, it doesn't go yucky. If you're a bread eater (whole wheat, or something like Ukrainian style bread is better than white, of course) sprinkle olive oil on it. Peanut butter is pretty nutritious, has decent type fat and is a compact source of calorie. Besta luck, njg ============== --- Jen <jenniferm32@...> wrote: > > Yeah, I'm still on the food kick. Guest guest
Thanks to everyone for the ideas! Now at least I have a lot of ideas. It helps since in terms of quantity I'm not eating much, so when I do eat I have to eat something with nutrition and with fat/calories. Thanks again! Guest guest
golly gee Jen, I hope you don't die just for food. Just watch out for the " attack of the killer tomato " . Anywho, why not call a nutritionist from your nearest hospital and get some pointers from them? ak --- Jen <jenniferm32@...> wrote: > > Yeah, I'm still on the food kick. Guest guest
Hi again. Well I've been to nutritionists in the past for other things, and they're helpful. But I don't really qualify for a free appointment with one and I don't have insurance right now. So nutritionists are out for now. At the moment my biggest hurdle is that I'm just never hungry. It's a good suggestion. I just have to wait til I have insurance. Guest guest
I think you might be able to contact a nutritionist through WebMd. Have you tried them yet? ak --- Jen <jenniferm32@...> wrote: > > Hi again. > > Well I've been to nutritionists in the past for > other things, and > they're helpful.
