Guest guest
Been on Lex since October. Dr. took me off of Celexa 20 mg, started me on Lex 5 mg. The side effects I can remember are vivid dreams, being sleepy, more jaw clenching -- that went away. I had trouble dividing up the 10 mg pills into 5 mg, and as a result had varying symptoms. One positive side effect I noticed almost right away was I was thinking more clearly than on Celexa. Then after about 6 weeks I *knew* it was working for the depression (familiar comfort). My anxiety grew though, after I got over the sleepiness obviously. Went back to Dr., and he upped my dose to 10 mg, and recently to 20 mg. My anxiety has been lessened greatly, and I can still think clearly, depression is at bay. I call that success! Good luck, and stick with it! It's the best antidepressant I've been on so far. Guest guest
Hi Crystal, I want to get on Lexapro so bad! Right now I am taking Paxil, I started on 5mg and now I am taking 10mg. The only side effect I seem to be having is being exhausted all the time, which can be quite depilitating at times. Let me know if you start taking Lex and what sort of sides (if any) you experience. Good Luck!!! Take care all!!! Guest guest
Thanks for your input Christie. I am starting at 10mg so hopefully I won't experience the anxiety you did from the start. Do you really feel different on these medicines. I am new so I have nothing to compare it to, but can you tell you're on something or do you just feel like your mood i lighter. Thanks, . > >Hi All, > >I'm just starting on this medication. I have constant anxiety and > >panic attacks, and mild to moderate depression. Guest guest
I take Lexapro for the same symtoms. It works pretty well, but I think it may be better for depression, maybe that's just me. > Hi All, > I'm just starting on this medication. Guest guest
Hey Rayne, That's funny because so many of the things you describe below describe me right now. Like getting at my 3 year old for not listening the first time, just basically terrible impatience. There are times when I can control it a little, but most of the time... whew. I sure hope it helps me like they've helped you. I'm excited about getting better, but still nervous too.. Thanks again, . > > > Hi , > > > > Every one has different reactions to every drug.
