Guest guest
Hi Nico, I know alot of women who have suffered from hair loss and/or thinning after implant illness (including myself), but I really do not know how everyone has fared as far as having hair grow back. I know one of our members, dimonds, recently wrote that she is still experiencing problems with her hair a couple of years post explant. She had really, really thick hair. I had seen improvements in my hair when I did essential oil hair wraps weekly (even my husband made a comment about how much better my hair looked, so I know it wasn't just my wishful thinking) but after I had colored it, it started breaking off again. I was so mad at myself for doing that! So I am still dealing with trying to improve my hair quality, through supplements hopefully, and I need to work those hair wraps into my schedule again. None of us has any magic bullets, yet, unfortunately. Oh, one more point. Thyroid issues (either hypo or hyper) affect your hair almost universally, and I have Hashimoto's thyoiditis (autoimmune) due to implants. If this is possibly causing your hair loss, you might want to check into it further and get treatment if necessary. Good luck, Patty ----- Original Message ----- From: msnico80 Sent: Tuesday, October 14, 2003 5:07 PM Subject: question regarding post-surgery I am so glad I came across this group. I have had saline implants for 4 years, and regret getting them ever since. I have lost so much hair and I am almost positive that its cause of the implants. What I want to know is, after the implants are removed is it possible for your hair to grow back? Has anybody gone through with the surgery, and if so i would appreciate a response. Thanks,Nico

Many other symptoms are gone with the wind, praise god!
