Guest guest
Okay...nuturing our spiritual side is necessary. Someone mentioned " religion " and " spirituality " are two different things. You are SO right. Religion is " man made. " I've been doing a lot of research about depression/anxiety/phobia's etc. and I have a great book I'm reading titled " The Little Book of Letting Go " and in the book there are some very interesting points. Yes, there are those of us who need medicine such as Lexapro because there is a chemical imbalance we need help with, but also if we don't get in touch with our " wholeness " which I interpret as our spirit we cannot stay connected to all that is positive and we get sucked into " sticky thoughts " which are the thoughts that cause us emotional disruption or emotional upheaval of some sort. Can any of you elaborate on this? And Yes, I'm a very spiritual person and I use the word " sucks " sometimes because it really isn't profanity but accurately describes negativity!!!! P.S. are any of you on more than one antidepressant? --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now. Guest guest
No, 'sucks' was fine. :-D There are a number of people that take Wellbutrin in addition to Lex or Celexa. Wellbutrin seems to counteract many of the worst of the Lex and Celexa sides. A note of caution though, if you're primary Dx is anxiety Wellbutrin may make that worse.
