Guest guest
I've always taken it in the morning. As for the side affects, try giving it 2 weeks. If you still are having side affects, definitely contact you doctor and discuss it with them. Zenda ocean7front <ocean7front@...> wrote: What do you all find is the best time to take Lex. Morning or bedtime? I got shaky from Celexa so am going to try Lex. If I get that side effect how long should I give it to go away ( if it's going to go away)? Have any of you that might have been on Celexa found that Lex really had fewer side effects than Celexa? Thanks
Guest guest
I started out on lexapro and then was switched to celexa. My pdoc said only one tiny ingredient was changed in celexa to market under lexapro - it was a patent deal when the patent on celexa ran out. I take mine at night. The only side effect I see is less libido - but mine wasn't ever strong in the first place. I currently doubled my celexa dose as my bi-polar daughter getting married on this Sat. (4th) was in the hospital last week due to her bi-polar meds needing to be changed. We have had a terrible couple of weeks and I needed to feel calmer. I feel calmer but will go back to 40mg celexa once the wedding is over. Becky Zenda <zmayer03@...> wrote: I've always taken it in the morning. As for the side affects, try giving it 2 weeks. Guest guest
Morning since I had trouble sleeping when taking it at night. Guest guest
I take it in the morning because when I first started taking it, it felt like it would run out before it was time to take again. now I am on 40mg chris <chrisemail75-yg@...> wrote: Morning since I had trouble sleeping when taking it at night. Guest guest
Thank you all for your input. I think I will try the morning and hope this one helps instead of increasing the anxiety. My dr did say that Lexapro is a mirror image of Celexa - not sure what that really means, but I will give it a try.
Guest guest
>>Celexa Well if I run out maybe I'll take some old Celexa I see in my cabinet. I think they say 40 mg., not sure.
