Guest guest
Faith is the opposite of fear and if you fear cancer bad enough you can actually help it happen in the same way your faith in what God says will make it happen. We cannot please God without faith and that is what the Bible says, not me. I pray this prayer over me daily and God is faithful to work on me to make the changes in my spirit and I can be a witness in saying, I have no fear, no fear of man or disease. God's way is freedom. I Jn 4:17-18 17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. (NKJ) So I pray for God to perfect His love in me and if you pray that be ready to have things in your heart exposed that you did not even know were there. It hurts, but it feels good to get the wrong thinking weeded out and the result is peace, joy and NO FEAR. Diann

Guest guest
I'm not a Christian and I don't believe in Satan, but I do take Lexapro and it's working wonderfully well, even in the midst of treatment for hepatitis C. Guest guest
First of all, Joyce Meyer ROCKS!!! Secondly, the Lord is very firm in the fact that He does not want us to fear. He says " Do not fear " (or " Do not be afraid " depending on your translation) to us 365 times in the Bible. That's one " do not fear " for every day of the year. Furthermore, the concept of not having fear is SO important to God that it is actually mentioned more times than love. What can I say? God knows His people and He knows what we need to keep chugging along in this world. Fear causes major damage to faith. Faith and prayer are the most important tools in communicating with God. Without these, it's much harder to see the life that God has planned for you. And it's much harder to see yourself as God sees you. Fear just makes it harder to exist. And I can say this, because I have had problems with anxiety and fear for many years. But God's got my back, and I KNOW this to be true. That helps extinguish the fear. No matter what, He is protecting me ... and you ... even though we may not always be able to see what He's doing. So, of course, Satan uses fear to his advantage. Why not?! It's probably one of the easiest for him to use. As long as you're afraid, you won't go anywhere, no steps of faith, no steps out of your comfort zone ... no faith. Even if you're scared to death to do something, but you KNOW you should do it. DO IT! Just like Joyce said ... confront your fears. God will carry you. And the best part is, when you totally rely on Him, that's when the cool stuff starts happening. peacefulheart4 <peacefulheart4@...> wrote: This comes from Joyce Meyer's book " Straight talk " which covers Depression, Discouragement, Fear, Insecurity, Loneliness, Stress and Worry.
