Guest guest
I have been undergoing ETG testing for 1 1/2 years in my custody battle. Over this time, 4 " unknowns " came as a test result, along with " Unknown due to unknown interference. " I have not tampered with the samples, ingested anything to interfere with the test, knowlingly, and cannot figure this out. After the first one came in, I requested observation during testing. People are questioning whether I have ingested something purposely to alter the test and I have not. The lab has been contacted by several different professionals and the reply was simply that the samples had been tested several times and the tests could not be completed due to unknown interference. The courts treat these as positive results " in the absence of information otherwise. " I just don't understand how to approach this anymore. I can't keep doing these tests, feeling like they are not reliable. But, I can't prove them otherwise, and the burden is on me. The lab fully admits that they cannot find alcohol, but their responsibility ends there. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm at my wit's end. Is there some kind of additional test that can be done to the remaining samples to isolate the problem? Please let me know.
