Guest guest
I for one sincerely hope that Maximus and members of the nursing boards, probation, etc are interested enough to monitor this site. I can speak for myself only and I have posted nothing but the truth about my experience with recovery and this test. I believe the others here also who have been around for a while. I am grateful to the diversion program because it got me sober, but this test is inaccurate in the manner it is currently being used. They need to know that. We are not all liars here, just trying to share experience, strength and hope. Debbie , RN

Guest guest
hi debbie,i think you are dead on...the more people that monitor this site and learn information on the pitfalls of this test the better...i just returned from europe where this test originated and they would never think of using EtG like we do in the us...the more open we can be,the more more help we can be...regards,rAkaDeebster@... wrote: I for one sincerely hope that Maximus and members of the nursing boards, probation, etc are interested enough to monitor this site. Guest guest
--- You know I got your back Robin. I think ya'll should take great pride in the fact that ya'll are being monitered. This means you are making a difference. Think about it, if some little ho-dunk movement starts up and nobody is listening or is interested, nobody really gives a rats ass what they say or do. On the other hand, when a movement starts up and people start to listen, and that movement makes far more sense than those opposed to it do, the opposers get their nighties in a knot. In other words, they are worried. They are worried that your movement may change the status quo. This is evidenced by the Drug Czar making multiple trips to Colorado and Nevada to lobby against the inititaves on the ballots to legalize pot. He was worried that they just might pass. Although they both lost, it is in no way a mandate. Colorado lost 60%-40% and Nevada lost 56%-44%. Most of the against votes came from those 65 or older. Well...........take from that what you will. However, those old coots won't be around for every election in the future and I guarantee you, these inititaves will be back on the ballot. The Drug Czar had to lobby against these by using scare tactics and " for the children " card. The same thing is happening here. You are being lobbied against by using intimidation and threats. The " for the children " card will undoubtly come into play at some point. They will start using this on high school kids, mark my word. Ya'll know I'm always right. Ya'll know what I think of any drug test, dontcha? WITCH HUNT Tyrants always squirm when the truth comes out.
