Guest guest
ok I haven't written but let me catch you up, last week on the 20 th of April my parents got into an accident my step mom is dead . my dad is paralyzed from the neck down it happened in collier county.. now to the point they hated me because they believed I did not change because of ETG ..my daughter hates me. this fu333ng test has ruined my life too. court is canceled until body's can come home .. but I want and intend to fight this to the end..hopefully with your support I can heal. thanksSee what's free at AOL.com. Guest guest
What would happen if you eat that rabbit ?! Ithink we are on to something....drdan2...thanks dr. murray....What do oil spills have to do about etg? somewhere on the internet or in a library is the answerto these false positives. We just need to find it. This is a biochem. problem with a simple solution. You,me, & EtG [0006] Conjugation with glucuronic acid occurs extensively in mammals and other animals (Levine, B., Principles of Forensic Toxicology, AACC Press (1999)). Glucuronidations are catalyzed by UDP-glucuronosyltransferases, located in the endoplasmic reticulum (Rashid, B. A et al., Journal of Chromatography A 797:245-250 (1998)). They catalyze the transfer of glucuronic acid from an uridinediphosphoglucuronic acid (UDPGA) cofactor to the above mentioned functional groups. Id. Compounds with carboxylic groups undergo direct conjugation with glucuronyl residues. The effect of glucuronidation is to produce an acidic compound that is more water-soluble than the parent precursor at physiological pH (Levine, B., Principles of Forensic Toxicology, AACC Press (1999)). [0009] EtG was first isolated in 1952 by Kamil et al. from rabbit's urine (Schmitt, G., et al., Journal of Forensic Sciences. 42(6):1099-1102 (1997)). In 1967, Jaakonmaki et al. detected the metabolite in human urine (Schmitt, G., et al., Journal of Forensic Sciences. 42(6):1099-1102 (1997)). . [0010] Conjugation of ethanol with glucuronic acid occurs in the endoplasmic reticulum of liver cells and to a lesser degree in cells of the intestinal mucosa and lung (Seidl, S., et al., Addiction Biology 6:205-212 (2001)). Glucuronidation of ethanol requires activated glucuronic acid and the presence of UDP-glucuronyl transferase (Stephanson, N., et al., Therapeutic Drug Monitoring. 24:645-651 (2002 none of these rabbits and humans in above studies took drinky poos yet still made EtG...regards, AOL now offers free email to everyone. Guest guest
I have said that all along....I know there is a solution out there....and probably a realitively simple one for the right person. We KNOW what the problem is....so we need to focus on the solution instead of the pollution. Gee, would eating radioactive livers give me a 'special glow' when I go out on a date???? I do want to tell you guys, I REALLY appreciate you being here....the brainiacs of this group(esp. Robin, Dr. Dan 1 and 2, and Lorie) have added so much in the way of identifying factors which influence Etg and have stimulated this discussion to new heights....I LOVE thinking out of the box!!! It would be great to find a research university that would be interested in taking this Etg research on. I am not sure where we are with any research at this point...the army or air force or something was supposed to be doing something or funding research, but I haven't heard anything yet. I can't believe the way this Etg test is just steam rolling it's way into all areas now, like the liver transplant field....but I do believe the more havoc and damage it causes, the greater it will fall. It is very sad though that some people have to give up their life because of it. Wonder how those lab people who promote and market this test sleep at night! danramo@... wrote: What would happen if you eat that rabbit ?! Guest guest
actually very little isotope would be involved nancy less than a medical scan...perhaps someone knows a biochemist who would do this for us on one or two people..it would be very easy to confirm dd2's hypothesis with this test...if animal liver EtG isotope is found in human urine after consumption of animal EtG then the hypothesis would be confirmed... if not the null hypothesis would be true...i think the lab folks drink koolaid and take sominex and live in denial so they do not have to think of the harm this experimental test has caused...regards,r N <nautiques5@...> wrote: I have said that all along....I know there is a solution out there....and probably a realitively simple one for the right person.
