Guest guest
---I think the inhalation point is a good one to somehow pursue. I have been afraid of it from the get-go & even moreso now that I know how many things out there contain ETOH ( & of course that's only a partial list---think of all the stuff we DON'T know about yet!!! I'm afraid to clean my windows inside my car because of the fumes! As for the MRO's & how they do things now----is there any way we can contact them to ask them what they do for an MRO assessment now in light of all this new info? Maybe they'd stop & think we're not a bunch of lying, idiot drunks & we KNOW there are multiple substances & manners of exposure that might cause a +. Just some thoughts....feeble as they may be. All I ever thought about was what I ate or drank. No it comes to mind that in my office is a person that is 'germaphobic' and is always spraying lysol disinfectant at the first sign of someone sneezing or blowing their nose...lysol has 79% ethanol!! Also, at work when they strip the floor and wax them it stinks all day....things that make you go HMMMMMM!!!! Has any MRO asked you WHAT things you may have been EXPOSED to...as far as inhalants!!! I was cleaning yesterday...my daughter who was at my hearing said...'Mom, be careful NOT to breath while you are cleaning!'...of course she said that sarcasticly....but who knows...if I were tested yesterday, I might have been positive!!!! I think we need to re-think these false positives that have come with NO idea of food sources...and think of possible areas of inhalation exposure!!! Blab-away for as little as 1¢/min. Guest guest
Marsha, Last week, I sent the attached letter to Redwood Toxicology, Dr. Martha Brown, Compassvision, First Lab, National Medical Services, and Kuntz (NWTox). According to Dr. , information presented at the conference is on the same playing field as peer-reviewed scientific literature and is "fair game" to use as evidence in a hearing. I don't want these people to hide behind the defense of "We had NO IDEA of this information" when it comes time for my hearing. I received no response from any of them. Here's the email addresses, if you want to inquire about how they intend to use this new information in their advertising and interpretation of EtG results. I'm pretty sure they think I'm a lying, idiot drunk! [i may meet the "idiot" criteria, but the "lying" and "drunk" part couldn't be further from the truth!] Redwood Toxicology: suzanne@... Guest guest
I asked the question a year ago and was told by Smolley that he had reason to look into hairspray's effect on EtG and I would have to huff an entire can to cause a positive EtG. Just like Eva was told she'd have to eat 500 turkey sandwiches made with white wine to cause a positive! Guest guest
I finished VRP last fall, and don't remember ever having an e-mail contact for anyone there.
