Guest guest
Dr. Moering, did you intentionally stick your hand in that hornet's nest? Seriously, I think I understand your point--nobody can predict what correctly done research will show based on anecdotal evidence--and I choose to believe that you are not meaning to call us liars; however, you missed one very important fact: For each one of us, there is only ONE PERSON who can possibly know the absolute truth: OURSELVES! THAT is why we are so sure what research will show. I will stake my life on it. There will never be a widespread, well done study showing ZERO etg in people who have NOT consumed beverage alcohol. OR ELSE, I AM A SCIENTIFICALLY UNIQUE INDIVIDUAL, IMMUNE TO THE LAWS OF PHYSIOLOGY! Personally, I find it hard to believe there are so many of us unique individuals. But Lorie was right-you are speaking to the crux of the situation-more research , better research , needs to be done. Research that cannot back out of findings by relying on "self-reporting" of alcohol intake. If ever you need a guinea pig for that research, save my e-mail address. I'm game. I can't pay for it, but I am willing to be monitored 24/7 and tested daily for as long as it takes. I have nothing to hide. And I know a few people who will echo these sentiments! ~~~~~~~~~~Keep The Faith~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Eva
