Guest guest
Hello, and hugs to both you and your little fighter girl! It's so hard to shut off one's mind when you think something is illuding you regarding your children. How are her spirits? Children are so amazingly resielient...bless her heart! My DH told me I missed your call the other night, I'm sorry. I have been crazed trying to take care of all the issues with my Mom's estate and the home I grew up in, and had escaped to the gym that evening. Eliana has been somewhat crabby lately from teething both eye-teeth, and the frustration from the imobility. I know eventually though, she'll get big enough and strong enough to crawl again soon. We saw her Dr. here last week who said her lungs sound great and her ASD murmur is almost undetectable without the pressure of the spine on it. They measured her right before we left for SLC, and now she is two and a half inches longer in the cast! I'm already making arrangements for her next cast on May 19th. I'm praying for the docs in Texas to lay their hands and eyes on Mo's x-rays this week, and I'm sure they will move up her surgery date if their are any unexpected findings on the x-rays from Wichita. Mom's are instinctive when it comes to our little ones, and I know how hard it is to wait. Please call again if you just need to vent, and I'll give you a ring soon! I'm darting out the door to do errands, and visit a child friend of my girls who is in the hospital. My two oldest little chicks have no school today and are " so bored " , LOL, so I better go so we can get out the door. Happyiness vibes {{{{}}}}} and hugs to you and Mo and of course , how is he? Enjoying all the time playing outside in the nice weather I'm sure! keep us posted, and please know your family is in my prayers, and hopefully we can catch up soon! God Bless, , Eliana, Cassidy and Ember > Hi everyone, > Hope you are all well. Moriah is doing fine and greatly enjoying being back in school. WE have been in contact with Texas with a few concerns medically. Moriah's left side (without implants) looks more pronounced to me. She is also 1 inch shorter than she was a month ago. Today we traveled to Wichita for a series of spinal xrays. We also measured her with the same ruler used one month ago to double check. She is definitely one inch shorter. Her xrays are being overnighted to Texas. They will be having a regular meeting Tuesday morning. Please pray that they set aside time to discuss Moriah during that meeting. Pray that her xrays are there and everyone can see them. We have been told that her tentative date for the third rib implant is July 20th!!! That is 5 months, not the 2-3 months we were told when we were in Texas. Please pray that her surgery date can be moved up to preferably May. Early June at the latest. My concern is that her curve is simply shifting away > from the right side implants and getting worse on the left. I don't want her kyphosis to flare up so much that it jeapordizes placing that third implant on the left side. Thanks for your continued prayers, encouragement and friendship. Thank God Moriah is in His hands. I don't know how anyone could keep sane under these circumstances without Him. We love you guys. > > Shellie > > __________________________________________________ >
