Guest guest
hi d,toradol can cause oxidative liver dysfuncion and long term liver injury thus upregulating non oxidative EtG,EtS...not to be used long term in anyone for this reason especially during monitoring, regards,r Hepatic Function: Caution should be observed if ketorolac is to be used in patients with impaired hepatic function, or a history of liver disease. As with other NSAIDs, borderline elevations of one or more liver function tests may occur in up to 15% of patients. These abnormalities may progress, may remain essentially unchanged, or may be transient with continued therapy. A patient with symptoms and/or signs suggesting liver dysfunction, or in whom an abnormal liver test has occurred, should be evaluated for evidence of the development of more severe hepatic reaction while on therapy with this drug. Meaningful elevations (greater than 3 times normal) of ALT and AST, occurred in controlled clinical trials in less than 1% of patients. Severe hepatic reactions including jaundice and cases of fatal hepatitis have been reported with NSAIDs.doetta5555 <doetta5555@...> wrote: Yes, , it was recommended by my probation monitor to enter treatment. I met with her on Nov. 29th and began treatment Dec. 6th. It is on my contract that I had to enter a place by Dec. 15th. She hasn't mentioned anything about the SAMHSA report. She just said the board wants it less than 500 and that was that. I still need to speak to the MRO for Compass Vision. I was on Toradol IM and looked on the label and saw it has 10% alcohol in it. Does anyone think that is the culprit? I called the place that makes toradol but they didn't think it would interfere with any testing. I had mu Dr. change the med to pill form so we'll see if that changes anything. I hope I am posting this correctly. Thanks for listening. Guest guest
Hi I am not sure if i am posting correctly or not. i have just been notified of a complaint registered against me and do not know what to expect. If anyone knows of other groups i can join for support please let me know. I have heard i will definately be tested and this ETG was mentioned which has me pretty scared since it sounds like it isn't a very accurate test. Thank You Kathy > > > > > > I have noticed that there hasn't been any recent posts of people > with > > false positve etg. Guest guest
Hi Kathy, I have a feeling you live in CA. What licensing board? There is an excellent message board at http://www.voy.com/140037/ that deals with health professionals who are dealing with their licensing board. There is excellent support and experience there. Don't start stressing about EtG testing at this point...First things first! Lorie > > > >> > > > I have noticed that there hasn't been any recent posts of > people > > with > > > false positve etg.
