Guest guest
I know many of you have probably already checked this out but, when one of my sons was diagnosed with autism, it was recommended to me that we get an *extensive* urine test done...and, of course, Kaiser would only cooperate to an extent. This place was recommended to us: http://www.greatplainslaboratory.com/home/ and they sent us the kit (for free) to gather the sample. Then we sent it off and got back more information than we EVER wanted to know about my little guy's pee pee ;-) It tests for all sorts of Organic Acids, Fatty Acids, Zinc, Metal, Food Allergies, Yeast Culture & Sensitivity...all sorts of stuff. I SWEAR, friend, I don't own stock in Great Plains Laboratory...I get absolutely *nothing* from recommending you check out their testing capabilities. Just thought I'd pass this along... When I was getting the low creatnines, like I said, putting myself into a permanent state of dehydration solved the problem (I know, I know...bad idea in the long run). However, had I continued getting low creatnines and " out of range " specimens (which the BRN considered " positive " tests), I was going to do this testing. Guest guest
KayJay, When I was in rehab in January, the doc there was all fired up about the Great Plains Lab. I did the testing. It cost me $220 and one of the determinations was that I had elevated yeast/fungal metabolites, indicating a yeast/fungal overgrowth of the GI tract. They recommended prescription or natural anti-fungals, along with probiotic supplementation.
