Hello, everyone...I'm so excited to meet you! I'm a 49 year old glass

bead artist in Northern Alabama, US. My left eye is dark brown while

my right is half blue/brown. I've had a good laugh over seeing many of

you also got the " Hey, did you know....? " comments from folks. I've

played devil's advocate many times and said, " NO!!! You're pulling my

leg. Really? Where's a mirror!?! " Sometimes when little kids ask me,

I'll close my eyes, shake my head vigorously, then pop my eyes wide

open and ask if that fixed it.

I've always celebrated my unique eyes even though I got teased a lot

when I was young. Most folks now think it's pretty cool. One of our

three dogs is an Australian Shepherd with very similar eye coloring to

mine. In last year's community dog show, Shadow and I won a blue

ribbon for " Most Like Owner. " Had to be because of the eyes...possibly

because neither of us has a tail! ;o>
