Subject: Question from a concerned woman

I found an article that included your email address. I have been searching the internet to find information on what is really involved with removing my saline breast implants. One has ruptured (for the third time) and I no longer want to replace it. Embarrassingly, due to my fear of additional surgery, the fact that my surgeon told me that removal would leave me "disfigured" and that we don't have the money for the surgery, the broken implant has been there for several years.

I know I need to do something and I simply want them gone. Do you have any information regarding what the procedure would be like, what I might look like and how to best find the right doctor for the surgery?

Thank you for any help or information you can send my way. I wish I'd never done this and I thank you for encouraging other women not to.

Most Sincerely,

Ruth
