I have read her posts before. She has two children on the spectrum and she does a lot of research, and I respect her opinion. Anyway, on another note, I used Immunocal with my son and we saw a lot of good things at first, and then after a while, nothing. It might be for reasons that Kathy states below: " I have used this with my kids, and there are some cautionary notes If you have a child who is definately PST deficient, you must excercise caution as to not build up a cystein toxcity. I do have my kids on GF CF, albeit, the GF is mostly corn and oat products. The people who sold it to me said only1% cassein...if that is a problem for you, then I would not do it, but if slight modifications on CF is ok, then I would at least try it. The good thing about this product is that it is in the RED BOOK pharmacy and that it can be covered by insurances and or your medicaid insurance. I use this product on an as need basis, when they are sick, or I see some sort of decline in health. Kathy " Celia
Guest guest
I have been using this on my son. Since we are giving him so much stuff, I cannot guarantee that it has solved the problem for which I ordered it, but think it did make a big difference. My son had chronic impetigo for three years, he is 4 now. He had been on repeated antibiotics, bactriban (topical), forever for this. Nothing worked. I used the herbal remedies recommended, and still the sores were all over his head. When I started him on immunocal, I also started putting colloidal silver ointmen on his sores. Within two weeks, the impetigo is gone. He is still on immunocal and is doing better everyday. I plan on keeping him on maintenance for a while. I do think it works. My son's glutathione levels test came back low, which is why I ordered the immunocal. We have not retested, but I plan on doing that after he has been on the immunocal for a while. It is clinically proven to raise glutathione levels. I went with this over the trandermal cream because I could not find any information saying research showed that the transdermal cream worked. [ ] immunocal Has anyone heard of this product or used it? I emailed the company and they said that is casein free. http://www.immunocal.com/product.htm " We " (my son) have low Plasma Cysteine and I was wondering if this might help. Anyone? Guest guest
Good Morning: Immunocal,it works. I have been taking Immunocal for over 4 months, and my Husband has been taking it for over a year or so maybe even longer. I take 2 pouches every morning along with 2oz. of low fat milk , shake it and drink it tastes good ,also helps the other supplements go down with no nausea at all and no upset stomach. It costs 1$ a pouch , 30 pouches in a box and two pouches at a time. It's one of the only things, no matter what that I do not skip. Glutathine defficiency, oxidative stress, immune deficiency. When there is a deficiency. it brings us to a state of many problems. For example: Alzheimers, chemical and infectious hepatitis, prostate and other cancers ,HIV/AIDS,chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, radiation poisoning, and more....Bottom line is we have a lower immune system that needs a supplement. It's the best $2 a day I spend, and well worth the money. Very important to eat healthy, better to not eat out of boxes or cans, (pre made foods). My theory is read ingredients, if you can't see, spell, pronounce,or to many words,or need a chemist to understand the meaning, put it back on the shelf. We already have too many chemicals in our body from the implants, pleasedo not ad any more in the sake of good health. Take deep breaths(outside) daily, and stretches, as often as possible.Remember Good Oxygen, Good Blood circulation. It doesn't taste bad, it's something about the texture, it kind of foams up....If you come up with a decent way to take it please post! As for what makes it different -- ? The research did seem impressive, but it looked like it worked really well when the gut was leaky and maybe less well if the gut was more healed.
