A Note from Beth on Living Beyond Yourself

Dear Friends,

A few months ago and I became irritated and impatient with one another in a way we hadn't in years. I rehearsed a list of things that aggravated me all the way to work that morning. Then the Holy Spirit brought a certain realization to me. I suddenly understood that as far as and I have come, we would still fight like cats and dogs if not for a daily desire and pursuit of life in the Spirit. In our flesh, my man and I are still as different as night and day.

The fruit of the Spirit is the reason our relationship has become so consistently sweet and dramatically transformed. I felt like God lifted an invisible veil and said, "This is what life would still be like without Christ living, active, and taking authority inside of you." That, my sibling in Christ, is a prime example of Living Beyond Yourself. I can't wait to explore life in the Spirit with you! Meet me at your computer for this exciting online study!
