Guest guest
1. I'm not sure if I was born with my different eye colors or if they developed that way. I'll ask my parents 2. I have green and brown 3. I usually put DIC (different in color) or hazel 4. No one else in my family has different colored eyes, just me! Thanks and good questions! Guest guest
I have complete heterochromia as well as anisocoria (which is pupils of different sizes) one of my eyes is brown and pretty well stays that way.. the other changes from blue to grey to green and has even been dark enough to be purple.. as well the brown eye ranges from a very dark brown to an almost yellow-ish brown.. I was born with heterochromia.. as for my drivers lisense currently I live in Canada and they don't ask for eye color on your lisense here but I lived in Kentucky for two years and my lisense said DIC for different in color.. I am currently the only member of my family with this particular trait (they thought my grandfather had it but his were a result of eye trauma).. however I'm just over 8 months pregnant and can't wait to see if my baby has heterochromia or not.. hope that answers some of your questions.. > > I do not have heterochromia, but I am interested in it. > By the way, I looked over the pictures and you guys have beautiful eyes. Guest guest
1. I was born with it, although my eyes were the same at birth, like most babies i was born with dark blue eyes, as they changed at around 2 or 3 months, my right eye changed to a lighter blue and my left eye changed to about 70% brown, 30% blue 2.I think most colour combinations are possible 3.I have never had this problem, I live in the UK and don't need to put eye colour on the drivers licence. And I don't have a passport. 4.Heterochromia doesn't necessarily have to be genetic. I don't know of anyone else in my family with it. I have 3 daughters and 6 grandchildren, and none of them have it either. Hope this answers your questions. > > I do not have heterochromia, but I am interested in it. > By the way, I looked over the pictures and you guys have beautiful eyes. I'm jealous. > > 1. I'm the wrong person to ask because I have Waardenburg Syndrome which has a high ineritance rate (is that proper expression?) > > > > I do not have heterochromia, but I am interested in it. > > By the way, I looked over the pictures and you guys have beautiful > eyes. Guest guest
I had a tiny bit of brown in my left eye when my eyes developed their colour at about 3months...It wasn't until I was much older (30's) that the amount of brown seemed to increas. None of my children (3) or grandkids (8) have heterochromia. My mother had greeny blue eyes but both her parents and 3 brothers had brown eyes so I think my three quarters brown eye is a throw back to the dominant gene having missed a generation in my mother. I never know what to write anywhere that asks what colour my eyes are... > > > > I do not have heterochromia, but I am interested in it. > > By the way, I looked over the pictures and you guys have beautiful > eyes. Guest guest
My son mason has heterochoromia and has since birth. One brown with a blue pie piece and one bluish, gray. His change depending on the light. Sent via BlackBerry by AT & T Re: I have a few questions. Guest guest
1. I was born with bright blue eyes and they stayed that way until I was about 2 years old when one of my eyes became ever so slightly darker and they continued changing from there. They still are becoming more pronounced, which I love. > 2. I have only ever seen my combination in one other person, which makes me think it is one of the rarer ones, Demi also has a hazel/green combo, though my hazel is darker than hers and my green eye is brighter. I also have half of a very light brown (like tan) color on one side of my green eye though it is only visible in camera flash. > 3. I'm not quite sure. I'm american, so it will be on my driver's license. I'm 15, so as soon as I finish driver's ed and get my permit we'll see!!! > 4. Far as I know I'm the only one in my family with it. I have 2 friends with it (one brown/gray and one sectoral, blue/blue-brown as well as 2 friends with central heterochromia) but none of them are family. My mom has dark brown eyes, my dad has blue, my sister has hazel-brown eyes with gold flecks rings in them (I have rings in my eyes too, nobody else in our family has that but me and my sister) and aside from my dad and my grandma who has green eyes everybody else has brown. I can't trace that far back though, just about 120 years. So I'm an original and we'll see when I have kids! =)

I have blue eyes and there is a slash that goes diagnal in my right eye that is brown and in my left eye I have a brown ring around my pupil. I was born with bright blue eyes and the color change didn't occur (at least from what I've seen in pictures) until I was a toddler. My son was born with bright blue eyes as well and when he was about 3 months old right eye started to get darker and darker until it turned brown. The left eye remained bright blue. He is 2 now and they are 1 brown 1 blue. My sister has hazel eyes, she does not have heterochromia. My mother does have heterochromia, she has these yellowish green eyes with spots of blue in them. Hers look almost tye dyed. I live in Virginia and my drivers license says I have blue eyes but thats not really correct I guess. I don't really know of anyone else in my family that has different colored eyes but really I don't know much about my family further off than great grandparents. I just now found out what it was even called and what it was caused by...I just thought it was normal to have different colors in your eyes. Its pretty cool though because everyone always tells you how beautiful your eyes are or how beautiful your childs eyes are. I actually had a girl tell me that my son has an eye color for every woman, if you like brown, hes got one..if you like blue, hes got that too! haha
