ACTION: Report on Bush Administration Response to the Global AIDS Pandemic

Dear Colleagues:

Happy New Year. I hope that you had a wonderful and restful holiday season.

The Global AIDS Alliance is in the process of developing a short report on the

W. Bush Administration Response to the Global AIDS Pandemic. This

report is scheduled to be released on January 20, 2002, the one year anniversary

of the Administration.

In order to help develop the report we are meeting and consulting with key

stakeholders within the Administration and within civil society to compile the

most accurate facts. The report is intended to summarize facts regarding:

1. Presidential Statements on the Responding to the Global AIDS Pandemic

2. Presidential Executive Action Taken

3. Presidential Legislative Action Taken

4. Presidential Budgetary Action Taken

5. Political Analysis and Recommendations

Please send any comments, suggestions, or recommendations for this
