Glad you made a decision about vaxing before your DS was born. Back in the 80's, I did pro bono work for a SIDS organization and at the time I never thought vaxs could be related to it. Truthfully I really wasn't concerned about vaxing till DS had a severe allergic reaction... I was vaccine injured as a child, resulting in asthma. Also, my best friend's daughter contracted juvenile diabetes from a round of shots at age 7 (even the doc admitted it was likely related to the shots), another friend's son slipped into autism after his year two shots, and yet another friend who lost her two-month-old to " SIDS " within 12 hours after his two-month shots -- the diagnosis of " SIDS " only came after having to endure a lengthy investigation for child abuse (specifically " Shaken Baby Syndrome " ). I started wondering that if all that was happening in my tiny little corner of the world, how wide-spread was this problem. When I started researching, I was sickened by what I found, too! This list is a tremendous asset in my life, as it is the one true " friendly " place for people like us to take a little solace, gain some sanity, vent, or gather more information as we fight this war. My youngest 2 are disabled: one isautistic the other has Rett Syndrome. So... I don't EXACTLY have areason to always be exhausted LOL After a few years back and forthwith my doctor, he finally today said we have no choice but to labelthis CFS. However in the back of my head I am still worried it is MS.At this point, I have been on antidepressants for a very long time andam on Celexa 60 mg and Lunesta 3 mg every night to get sleep. Hestarted me today on Provigil 200 mg which I guess is to help you feelmore awake. I also take Vitamin C daily as I seem to have a weakimmune system. That is it so far... I am basically in bed 24/7 exceptto get food, take kids to school and dr appts and use the restroom andbathe. I just feel blah... but happy so I don't think it is more medsfor depression I need. I desperately need to lose weight but I can'tget the energy for much of anything. You'll see in there whether your CFS or something else. He has availability in the book for a simple program you can follow yourself, OR help in finding doctor near you. You have made an excellent choice with the sleeve. I think that many of us first thought about the band and then found out about the sleeve and we are thrilled that we have the sleeve. May 15th will arrive before you know it. It is really common to have a bag full of mixed emotions. You are excited and scared all at the same time. You will second guess yourself and ask yourself --am I doing the right thing? You will have anxiety and fear and can't wait for it to be over with. You will think what if I am the one person this doesn't work on? You won't be that person, it will work for you. You will think what happens if I don't wake up--I am willing to bet a lot of us thought that. You will wake up and they will tell your family RIGHT away how well you are doing. They called someone at my home in Oregon because I went by myself to Mexicali. So you are in the best hands your could possibly be in with Dr. Aceves and his staff. If you have a million questions this is the place to come back and ask us your questions. There are no stupid or bad questions. That is what this board is for. Congrats on your choice and your new life!!! The drs and staff are amazing and I am a nurse and feel I had better care than hospitals here in US!
