Guest guest
My husband and I live in CA, so we were going to take the train down, and both have the surgery, we both so desperately need it, and then take the train back up. He has tonight officially decided he is not ready to have surgery and is not mentally there, so he said he'd be totally supportive but he's just no ready for WLS. I know it took me a while to get my head around it, and maybe he can diet and lose some of the excess when I'm not enabling him and he can't enable me....so...... Now I'm thinking that I should just fly down, and have surgery...and have him either drive or take the train down the day before and drive me back.... Did you guys need someone at the hospital with you? I'm afraid if he's just THERE, he'll eventually get on my nerves, plus won't know what to do with himself all day..... Thoughts?
